"The Drunk Ghost" — Creator of the Fuyu Style
From Jishou, Hunan — Jiugui created and defines the fuyu (馥郁) aroma style: a rare triple-combination of strong, sauce, and light aromas in a single expression. Recognised by its iconic round clay jar, Jiugui occupies a distinctive position in the premium baijiu market.
Brand Story
Jiugui (酒鬼酒) — literally "Drunk Ghost" — was founded in Jishou, in China's Hunan Province. The brand's master distillers developed the fuyu (馥郁) aroma classification, now recognised as a distinct and prestigious style of Chinese baijiu.
Unlike other baijiu houses that specialise in a single aroma, Jiugui's triple-combination approach produces a layered profile of grain sweetness, gentle smokiness, and lingering floral notes — all in a single glass. The round clay jar has become one of the distinctive vessels in Chinese spirits.
